World AIDS Day 2014; Theme: Zero Stigma & Discrimination
World AIDS Day is held on 1 December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show their support for people living with HIV and to remember people who have died because of AIDS. World AIDS Day is the first ever global health day and the first one was held in 1988.

AFRICON Chief Directorate staff members were at hand in an Africa Cup of Nations match held at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban where several prevention awareness activities were held including condoms distribution. Later staff members were accorded the opportunity to watch the match of the day and interact with the multitude of spectators that numbered in their tens of thousands. VIEW MORE		Behavioral Change Campaign Several behavioural change campaigns for in school youth have been held across the Province. The campaigns take the form of edutainment where messages on prevention and those against other social ills are relayed to learners in tandem with entertainment. Such an event was held in Bechet Secondary School in Sydenham, Durban attracting 400 learners. The Deputy Manager Mrs. Phindile Xulu (left) was at the event. VIEW MORE
