The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government, led by Premier Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli, in partnership with the Buthelezi family, today officially launched Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi’s Place of Rest as a Provincial Heritage Site at the KwaPhindangene Royal Residence in Mahlabathini, Ulundi.

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government, in partnership with the Buthelezi family, will on Wednesday, 27 August 2025 officially launch Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi’s Place of Rest as a Provincial Heritage Site at KwaPhindangene Royal Residence, Mahlabathini, in Ulundi.

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli convened a strategic meeting of the Provincial Infrastructure Council at the Archie Gumede Conference Centre in eThekwini. The session brought together key government officials, representatives from municipalities, and state-owned entities in a united drive to accelerate infrastructure development across the province.
