The Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli, together with the MEC for Transport, Honourable Suboniso Duma, will meet with representatives from long-distance taxi associations on Thursday, 05 December 2024, in a bid to resolve the ongoing strike that has disrupted transport services across the province.
Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli led the provincial event, which reflected on a month-long campaign to raise awareness about the rights of persons with disabilities. While the official campaign ran from 3 November to 3 December, Premier Ntuli declared the province’s commitment to advocating for disability rights as a year-round priority under the broader 365 Days of Activism for Human Rights.
