The vibrant community of eMbongombongweni, Ophongolo, witnessed a historic and culturally rich event on Friday, 26 July 2024, as King Misuzulu KaZwelithini officially installed Inkosi Mzamo Buthelezi as the Inkosi of the Mbongombongweni Traditional Council. The event drew a large and enthusiastic crowd, including prominent government officials and dignitaries including KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli.
