KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli spearheaded a powerful march against gender-based violence and femicide in the lead-up to the Women’s Day commemoration held at the Okhahlamba Sports Complex in Bergville.
The 2024 Women’s Parliament was themed "CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF DEMOCRACY: ACCELERATE EQUITY AND STRENGTHEN WOMEN DEVELOPMENT," reflecting on the progress made since the dawn of democracy and the continuing efforts to empower women across all sectors of society.
As the country observes the 29th National Women’s Day, the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Hon. Thamsanqa Ntuli, will lead the provincial commemoration under the theme “Inspiring New Hope Towards Women Development and a Prosperous Province.” This will be the first commemoration under the 7th Administration.
