KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli, attended the Man to Hanuman spiritual gathering hosted by Chinmaya Mission South Africa at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban earlier today.

The spiritually enriching programme brought together more than 15 000 devotees in celebration of 75 years of the Global Chinmaya Movement.

Premier Ntuli commended Chinmaya Mission South Africa for its continued contribution to social upliftment, spiritual development and community empowerment.

The Premier also applauded the organisation for providing holistic support to the people of South Africa through its Nourish to Flourish initiative, which seeks to promote dignity, care and sustainable community development.

Premier Ntuli said gatherings of this nature play an important role in strengthening social cohesion, moral values and unity among communities.

He further noted that faith-based organisations remain vital partners in building compassionate, resilient and inclusive communities across KwaZulu-Natal.

The Premier’s attendance reaffirmed the Provincial Government’s commitment to working with faith-based organisations, civil society and communities in advancing programmes that contribute to the wellbeing of the people of the province.
