In his address, Premier Ntuli commended the initiative for creating a formal platform to amplify women’s voices, expertise and participation in the construction sector. He emphasised that gender transformation is not only a social imperative, but also an economic necessity that strengthens innovation, productivity and sustainability.
The Premier reaffirmed the Provincial Government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote meaningful participation of women in infrastructure development and economic growth, noting that inclusive development is central to building a more equitable and resilient KwaZulu-Natal.
The launch of the She Builds Advisory Body signals a renewed commitment to breaking barriers, nurturing talent and ensuring that women play a leading role in shaping the future of the built environment in the province.
