Durban, KwaZulu-Natal,10 May 2025 - KwaZulu-Natal Premier Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli officially welcomed international delegates attending the second G20 Tourism Working Group meeting, hosted at the Coastlands Hotel in Durban.
The gathering marked a historic moment for the province, as KwaZulu-Natal played host to global tourism leaders during South Africa’s chairship of the G20 in 2025. The meeting brought together policymakers, tourism experts, and industry stakeholders from across the world to discuss collaborative strategies for inclusive, sustainable tourism growth.
Premier Ntuli expressed pride in KwaZulu-Natal’s role in shaping international tourism discourse, noting that the province’s diverse offerings—from cultural heritage and natural beauty to hospitality and innovation—make it a compelling destination for global partnerships and investment.
