KwaZulu-Natal, 24 December 2024 - As KwaZulu-Natal prepares for the festive season, Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli has shared a heartfelt message of love, unity, and safety for all residents and visitors.
“Whether you’re travelling, enjoying our stunning beaches, or celebrating with loved ones, this is a time to reflect on the spirit of togetherness and hope that the season brings,” the Premier said.
With the province expecting an influx of travellers, Ntuli urged everyone to prioritise safety on the roads and in their celebrations.
“Obey the rules of the road, avoid drinking and driving, and ensure you make rest stops on long journeys,” he emphasised. “The festive season should not be marred by avoidable tragedies.”
He also called on visitors to enjoy KwaZulu-Natal’s diverse offerings responsibly. “Welcome to the beautiful Zulu Kingdom—a province rich in culture, adventure, and natural beauty. From pristine beaches to majestic mountains, KwaZulu-Natal truly has something for everyone.”
Ntuli assured residents and visitors that law enforcement teams are working tirelessly to ensure a safe festive period. “KwaZulu-Natal is a no-go zone for criminals. Our security personnel are committed to protecting everyone and ensuring your holiday is memorable for all the right reasons,” he said.
