KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli, will tomorrow, Tuesday, 17 December 2024, provide an update on the province’s Crime Statistics as the Festive Season approaches.
As part of efforts to bolster crime-fighting initiatives, Premier Ntuli will also hand over vehicles worth over R11 million to the South African Police Service (SAPS). The vehicles, aimed at enhancing operational capacity, will be handed to the Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, at a formal event in eThekwini Metro.
This milestone forms part of the province’s Crime-Fighting Business Plan, led by the Department of Community Safety and Liaison under the Justice Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) cluster.
Premier Ntuli will further elaborate on the province’s Integrated Festive Season Safety Campaign, aimed at ensuring the safety of residents, businesses, and holidaymakers, reaffirming KwaZulu-Natal as a preferred holiday destination.
