The Premier of KwaZulu-Natal Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli will on Wednesday, 30 October 2024 lead the Members of the Executive Council (MEC) to uMkhanyakude District Municipality to engage with various communities on issues of service delivery.

This will be accomplished through Operation Sukuma Sakhe Cabinet Day, a platform that allows community members to interact directly with the Honourable Premier, Members of the Executive Council, and senior government officials regarding service delivery.

In the morning, Premier Ntuli will lead all Members of the Executive Council (MECs) as they visit various wards, where they will perform oversight on government programs and community projects supported by government and other service centres while engaging with ordinary community members.

Later in the day, the Premier will hold a community engagement at Bhambanana Sportfiled, in Bhambanana, Ward 12 under Jozini Local Municipality.

During the community engagement sessions, the Premier and MEC’s will listen to the community as they highlight their plights concerning service delivery issues and social ills plaguing them.
