The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government led by Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli has identified youth unemployment, development and financial backing for youth owned enterprises as some of the key priorities for the 7th administration.
Premier Ntuli will lead the Executive Council in hosting a two-day Youth in Business Summit which will provide a platform for engagement between Government and the youth.
About 1 000 young people, representing youth formations and structures from across the Province will converge at the Durban Exhibition Centre on Thursday and Friday 11 and 12 July to engage with the provincial government and municipalities, organized business, funding entities and the private sector.
Government will also outline employment and funding programmes and initiatives available in all the Provincial Government Departments.
The Summit will also review the Youth Development Strategy 2021-2026, sharpen its implementation plan and develop a Youth Economic Strategy for the Province.
