KwaZulu-Natal Premier Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli attended the KwaSizabantu Mission Youth Conference on Friday, 12 December 2025, an event recognised as a significant milestone in youth development and empowerment in the province.
The conference, which has been running for more than 50 years, brings together thousands of young people from across the country to share the gospel, engage in spiritual growth, and develop essential life skills. Hosted under a Christ-centred theme, the gathering provides a platform for young people to strengthen their faith and make positive, meaningful life choices.
Addressing the youth, Premier Ntuli commended them for attending the conference, noting that such engagements play a critical role in keeping young people safe and focused.
“A young person in a conference is a young person kept out of harm’s way and away from the criminal justice system,” said Premier Ntuli.
The Premier also urged parents to support and encourage their children’s participation in initiatives such as the KwaSizabantu Youth Conference, emphasising the importance of guidance, discipline, and positive values in shaping responsible citizens.
KwaSizabantu Mission has long been a cornerstone in addressing both the spiritual and social needs of young people, offering counselling, mentorship, and guidance aimed at fostering personal growth and resilience.
Premier Ntuli’s attendance at the conference underscored the Seventh Administration’s commitment to supporting programmes that promote youth development, moral regeneration, and the building of a brighter future for the young people of KwaZulu-Natal.
