Following the 2025 State of the Province Address (SOPA) delivered on 28 February, KwaZulu-Natal Premier Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli led a high-level Investment Business Breakfast aimed at accelerating economic growth and positioning the province as a prime investment destination.
This strategic engagement brought together key stakeholders, including business leaders, investors, policymakers, and representatives from various economic sectors. The event formed part of the 7th administration’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and investor-friendly environment in KwaZulu-Natal.
In his address, Premier Ntuli outlined the province’s economic priorities, emphasizing investment opportunities in infrastructure development, manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and the digital economy. He highlighted ongoing and upcoming projects designed to create jobs, stimulate local industries, and attract both domestic and foreign direct investment.
“Our government is dedicated to ensuring that KwaZulu-Natal remains a competitive and attractive destination for investors. By fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, we can unlock economic potential, drive innovation, and create sustainable employment opportunities,” said Premier Ntuli.
The business breakfast also served as a platform for robust discussions on investment-friendly policies, regulatory reforms, and strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing ease of doing business in the province. Industry leaders commended the provincial government’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and major infrastructure projects that will bolster economic resilience.
