KWAZULU-NATAL Premier, Honourable Thamsanqa Ntuli , will assemble the Provincial Council Against Crime (CAC) first meeting on Wednesday, 20 November 2024, at the Department of Public Works, Mayville.

This is a permanent platform at provincial level, which will be used as a structured engagement vehicle between the Provincial Government, Civil Society and the national structures in pursuance of mandates of the department to improve the scope and effectiveness of fighting crime. The structure will strengthen the battle against crime by coordinating all efforts in the provinceand provide a strategic advice and guidance on assisting in the development and implementation of the safety and crime prevention strategies for the Province of KwaZulu-Natal.
During this process, Premier Ntuli will outline the full details on the objectives of the Provincial CAC and how it would be put together as part of improving the effectiveness of its programme.
