Latest Update on KZN’s 2024 New Year’s Day Babies:
As of 5 pm, a total of 172 babies were born on New Year's Day in KZN, comprising 94 girls and 78 boys. Among them, 28 teenaged mothers were recorded, with the youngest being a 14-year-old. The Province also witnessed three sets of twins, including both girls, a boy and a girl, and both boys, with one sadly demised. The Department extends its condolences to the affected family.
