It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Irvin Sihlophe, a beloved radio personality from Ukhozi FM. Irvin Sihlophe was a Ukhozi FM sports producer and on-air presenter.
Besides, Sihlophe worked as the sports producer at SABC. During his professional time at Ukhozi FM, Irvin hosted and produced sports shows, which many people loved. Furthermore, he was active on multiple social media platforms.
Irvin Sihlophe suffered a stroke and was admitted in hospital on Friday, 3 November. He suffered a second stroke last night and was admitted at Addington Hospital, Durban but could not make it.

His voice, charisma, and unwavering commitment to delivering quality content endeared him to the hearts of countless listeners. His passing leaves a void that will be felt not only in the realm of radio but in the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.”-said Premier Dube-Ncube
