The KZN MEC for Education, Ms Mbali Frazer monitored two marking centres today. The first at Glenwood Boys High School and then Durban High School today.
She thanked educators for sacrificing quality family time to mark Matric Scripts.
MEC Frazer humbly requested markers to be extra vigilant, take regulated breaks to ease the fatigue, due to the inclement weather patterns.
"I am pleased about the high end security arrangements around marking centres".
"During my inspection, I observed the marking process and systems to be bulletproof, that was put in place by the Department to ensure fairness, accuracy and accountability", said MEC Frazer.
Also jointly monitoring the marking process with MEC Frazer was the KZN Department of Education HOD, Mr Nkosinathi Ngcobo.
Venue: Glenwood Boys High School and Durban High School.
