In a historic first for the province, KwaZulu-Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube will on Thursday, 27 October 2022, launch the Fuze Aviation Academy, a ground-breaking project that will open doors for young people into the exciting world of flight.
The event will showcase recent graduates who have undergone training as pilots, maintenance engineers, flight attendants some of whom are already working in the sector.
The Fuze Aviation Academy launch will take place at the Oribi Airport in Pietermaritzburg.
With air traffic set to double in the next 20 years the African aviation market is one of the world’s most attractive with high profit and stable passenger growth prospects anchored on a fast-growing middle class. Trainees are expected to take up opportunities in the sector in South Africa and the rest of the world.
