KwaZulu-Natal Premier braved the cold, rainy weather this morning with law enforcement agencies during a multi-disciplinary roadblock on the N3.
Premier Dube-Ncube urged law enforcement authorities to deal with motorists who do not obey the rules of the road.
The Premier this morning joined law enforcement officials during a multi-disciplinary roadblock which forms parts of the October Transport Month road safety campaign in the eThekwini Metro.
This operation is part of the provincial government’s ongoing initiatives to increase police visibility and reduce fatalities on the road.
Premier Dube-Ncube has called on motorists to drive with caution as roads are extremely slippery due to rains that can lead to reduced visibility.
“We appeal to motorists and pedestrians to continue to exercise extreme caution and call upon all road users to remember to adhere to the rules of the road,” said the Premier.
