KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala delivered the keynote address at the Bring Back Life Foundation luncheon at King Zwelithini Stadium.
The Bring Back Life Foundation is a project that is aimed at restoring hope and Ubuntu in our communities with the special focus on the youth.
The focus of the the project is fighting substance abuse and violence in any form and to promote a healthy lifestyle through encouraging young people to participate in sports and cultural activities.
The project also offers a helping hand by having charity programmes working hand in hand with relevant government structures both at provincial and local government spheres to awaken the spirit of Ubuntu.
The Foundation also used the occasion to celebrate the legendary boxer Obed “345” Gumede from Umlazi township.
The purpose of the luncheon was to give back to single parent headed households to assist them with food hampers, especially during these trying times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
